Very pleased with the retention on the Flip Point R&D knife’s sheath I just finished. Even partially deployed it doesn’t fall out. And that is without the retention indent that I cut into handles on things like the EDChef. Wasn’t expected it to be quite this good, given the handle design.

Primary and tip geometry roughed in with 36 grit. Now I switch to 120 to do the flats and clean up the coarse grind.

I tell ya, after working on big choppers, coming back to do something like this feels like a vacation.

And I took a minute to mod some of those blanks for eventual use. One Flicker (top) mod, and two Kagitsume (second from top) mods.
