What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

I put this up in the exchange a while back but it didn’t move.

That was before I forced a little patina a few days ago and then also adjusted the handle after finishing these orders tonight. Part of me wants to try again but another part of me wants to keep it. Even more than before.

Only at the shop for a short bit tonight. Decided to reprofile this one a little more kitcheny, and start the patina over.

Same sheath, just with a little heat and squeez. Introduced a little rattle but that’s fine for me. This one’s mine.

Actually (thank you for reminding me) I put it in my backpack earlier to bring it here and touch the edge up on the 220 grit belt.

It is 8.75” overall with a 4” handle. It also now has a newly forced mustard and coffee patina.

Sadly it's to long for what I want it for... And I hate mustard. (Just to be clear hate is without forgiveness)

But it looks great as long as all the mustard is gone 😂

I did a beautiful patina with Christmas ham on my ed chef kind of by accident but I'll redue it uniform the next ham we cook

Marten Scout variant. Probably going to end up sitting on this one a while since it is not spoken for but figured I’d show the profile here since it is one thing that happened in the shop.

That last one looks like the perfect size and thickness like that red and black beauty but an inch shorter and a little thinner. It looks like it would carry wonderful in a horizontal sheath and be a super slicer.

Good thing I have to many irons in the fire or id need a wolverine scout too. That looks like it has a lot of potential.
