Sister in law is a mom too. She likes peacocks. Hopefully this sorta works for that.

nice one David. I got peacocks all over my place. super destructive birds. poke holes in my screen and tear up my shingles on the roof and leave nasty surprises for me to clean off while they prance around up there. also they never shut up.

tell her if she comes down she can take home as many as she wants to catch........

as I'm sitting here on my porch here comes on and up on the roof he goes strutting around and making a mess

Are they protected, or can you shoot/eat them?

naw, non native. someone dumped them decades ago and natural predators seen to ignore them or can't keep up. don't really know why they seem to expand all over. I can't imagine they'd be good to eat, but I could be very wrong. I could shoot them, but wife likes them too, so she'd be mad and I've learned not to make the wife mad. took me a few years to learn it, but i finally did.

She might love you More, if you made her Dinner?...... just saying.

There ended up being more to do on a few of these than I realized last night. Just finished at the post office. And the van just pulled in. So it’s a good thing I didn’t stop to take more pics.

Ah you probably have a terrific marriage. I, on the other hand, like to push buttons, test boundaries, and buy knives I don’t need. Makes for exciting stuff ;)
