Well it says eco friendly, and we all know how serious “climate change” is. So yes….. it’s no laughing matter…… 🤣

It is pretty funny though, was wondering why you posted it. An Oxymoron? Solar flashlight lol.

like the old 5 and dime stores when i was a little kid. nothing was a nickel or a dime in my time. was all more than that. eventually that name died out and got replaced by the dollar named stores. same concept basically. massive real inflation year after year since decoupling currencies from the gold standard has set the currency named stores to get outdated and behind the times cost wise.

soon new stores will called the amazing sawbuck, tenner, dixie, 10 spot etc.....will be replacing the dollar stores. since the 10 is like the new dollar.

not the thread to talk about this stuff, but yes. the future with, and I'm gonna pick on corporate and mainly private equities, rolling into every industry isn't a bright one for workers or customers.......

they've rolled into my industry which is the mechanical constr install and services trades. it's not been going well for anyone but the number crunchers. is what it is....one day I'll be working for a pe I expect...unless I retire before it gets to where I am........

feels like the days of the mom and pop independent shops are coming to an end. I truly hope I am wrong.......

I’m expecting MagnaCut again for the remaining extant orders from last year and those will be priority when they get here.

And when the 61 RC AEB-L get finished by Peters’, nugent_crai nugent_crai of Empire Outfitters will be the next priority as he paid in full for his Mini Insomniacs.

So if you’d like your orders built sooner than later please get in touch as I requested in the multi alloy run thread.

Also stand by for pics of the wood scales that I have set aside as included in base price for the Hudson Bay knife orders. It will be first come first serve and I am tagging everyone here to keep it simple and organized.
 
Those of you I’ve spoken with about materials already, and with whom we’ve dialed in all the details, your orders are up next to be worked on. But there is still room in the coming week’s schedule for more. Hence what I’m about to post.
 
Here are scales included in base price for the Hudson Bay knives. And the 15N20 ones are in the shop now, which means any one of these gents could be worked into the coming week’s builds once I know:
