Great job , really well done ! Especially those (Zebra ?) wood handles .

But they still look like folders to me . Maybe it's that big pin , where a pivot would be ?

Three knives are curing so I put this together while I wait.

Bocote with Bocote and purple heart spacers and purple heart liners. For a rainy day. And I have enough spacer width to use with a second set of smaller scales, so maybe a two knife set like EDChef XL and TeenyChef or something.

I assume because of the a larger blade in the HB that it would be slightly blade heavy for chopping, etc. So by making the handle a little longer will it balance the weight a little better so it doesn’t feel like it would roll out of your hand? Very nice. Love the combo handles but that canvas micarta one just says “ utility” to me, plain and simple.
