What's happening in the David Mary Custom shop?

I told Andrew roughly how many knives I’d made since going full time, and admitted that I’m basically still a baby in the industry. I included a baby emoji in my text message. 👶 He agreed, so I said “goo goo ga ga” jokingly.

Then this happened. I am probably traumatized.

And guys the baby he sent is not a static image. The monstrosity flails about like it’s trying to tear my eyes out.

Hahaha I’m glad you enjoyed that but sorry for all the trauma. 🤣 I hope you were able to sleep.
 
Coffee break is over which includes three runs up the hill. It took five attempts to get a pic with the sweat actually in mid drip. Why? I really don’t know, actually. Personal challenge, I guess. I like those. 🤣

As most of you know, I don't usually make sharpening choils on my knives, but these ones have some very subtle rounding going on at the heel so they don't snag material. Tested each one on cardboard to ensure the heels slid off the material to allow the edge to make contact and start cutting.

To add on what David said, these will also come setup for pocket carry with a Discreet Carry Concepts Mod 2.2 clip. Here is a not-so-good photo of the clip on my DMC Fried Liver Attack. It's a nice small clip with great retention that won't rip your pants like a UltiClip can.
