I think it has a pleasant look, especially now that I'm seeing a better picture of it. While the color is different, that kind of look and feel reminds me of a particular type of fancy paper folder (like an office folder, not a folding knife) I remember encountering in the 1980s. I'm not sure if it was premium then or something older that was still on hand and the memory is hazy... but it's something that always stuck with me.

In general, I like the feel of Richlite or paper Micarta and have been meaning to get more of it in the collection. I'd been looking at some other choices but David has strongly suggested limiting my search to Canadian suppliers. That shrinks the pool and I think that could be good with some smooth grooves for grip.

Richlite has a nice hand feel and has decent grip even without texturing. I really like that green color. I was considering sending some to David, but changed my mind.

It is "camo", so it will have OD green and Coyote brown (I think it's called) visible when finished.
