OK, fair on the first point. But Swahili culture and the people who eat lutefisk could not be more opposite if they tried.

As to the second point, the amount of lye used to make the dish will kill any beasties in the trough. It will probably be the cleanest vessel in the county* before long. Except, of course, for the main dish.




*Parish? Province? Canton? Department?What unit of measurement do you people use up there for territorial administrative divisions?
