Took a break also to redesign on the fly. The last 8670 blank in my shop and possibly the last time I’ll ever make a knife with it.

It had a 16” blade, but I decided to go with max reasonable length for a dagger instead. And refined the handle shape as well.

I have to say, the concept of a small, ergonomic, utilitarian fixed blade has me all kinds of excited. Really looking forward to testing mine out on the farm! This will be my first DMC and I'm inclined to believe not my last.

The 2.1 is identical in blank form to the 2, except with about .3” longer handle with a bit more curve for the pinky to grab.
