Wow guys, I'm jealous!

I have a very small backyard. Still, my dog finds a whistle pig to hunt down from time to time..

I recently bought land in the mountains of eastern / central Japan and am going to build a log house (we've already hand stripped and planed the logs) which should be all finished by next summer. So this is not quite my yard yet but it will be. Also it's not quite my backyard as the first of these photos is of my front yard or at least the driveway and land leading to the front yard (with the logging road to the left of the driveway and a hiking trail to the right) while the second is of the logging road just to the side of my land. Hope that counts.

Sorry no back yard photos yet.

Ah yes, it makes me love Chicago. I can step out of my condo to see my back yard consisting of 20 or so feet of lush rolling green country side. Behind that is the next street's 20 or so feet of lush rolling green country side, and the guy behind me's condo. I'd take a picture of one of my knives stuck in a tree, but the nearest tree is in the back yard of a guy about 10 houses down from me and I'd have to get permission to tresspass :(

I currently live in Tokyo and have even less of a backyard than you (i.e. none) so can empathize with your lack of space. Still, only 6 more months to go before I become a country boy with wide open spaces all around. Then maybe I can post knife and tree photos too without being arrested!

Can you find the second deer? It's looking the same direction because I had to whistle at them to get them to turn thier heads.
