What's In Your Pockets? (And On Your Belt)

day to day, I hate anything in my pockets....except Ca$h paper but no change. Hunting or Backpacking thats a whole different story....I have pockets everywhere! I plan for the worse and hope for the best! LOL over pack...fanny & a small back pack. Though I keep everything in my Carhart Jacket an maybe a leathermen wave vintage its the first year it came out, on my belt. but thats about it. Won't carry folder in a sheath on my belt anymore in Massachusetts, even the Wave is risky.......

Here is my typical pile of pocket stuff....... :D :p

In the Pockets (Cargo Shorts so more pockets available to carry stuff :) )
Buck 424 (from the awesome Steve)
Buck 345 (deciding if I like it, so far I do)
Buck Tactical Slip Joint 703 (Usually have one of my Slippies on me in case I need to sneak up on a stick and do some whittling)
Keys with a Leatherman Style PS and of course a Buck 425
Lighter
Chapstick
Cigarette case with cigarettes in it.
Wallet with the usual stuff, plus folding scissors and nifty nail clipper (that were both from the awesome Steve)

On the Belt......
Buck 830 Marksman in a nylon 276 sheath
Giant cell phone phablet, for taking photos and communication in all its various forms, Internet on the go, GPS and stuff.... etc... (Phone being used to take the photo, so only the belt clip/holder is in the photo)

Yep.... Pockets are full....

Switching it up today....
swapped a 277 in ATS-34 for the Marksman 830 on the belt.
swapped a 271 in S30V for the 345 in the left front pocket.
swapped a 701 for the 703 in the left front cargo pocket.
All the other stuff is the same :)

I'm embarassed to even post after deserts blade arsenal hes carrying. I may have as many as 4 on me at one time, 1 in pocket, one on belt, one on my keychain and perhaps a necker if the mood strikes. Sorry to say only one lately, but its a goodun:

Shoot.... a 317 is awesome though!!
Someday I hope to aquire a good one :)

Honestly I sometimes carry just one.... like if we are dressing up to go out, then I select a bone handle 55 or maybe my 415.
Oh.....wait.... and also the 425 on my keys, because it lives there.

I and overall a folding lockback guy, but really love the 317-backsprings are so strong, its like a lockback.

Watch the popular auction site, look for one with full blades and nicked up at a good price/steal, then send it back to the spa.

My user( also have a mint 1st variation in the display case) started out looking like this

came back like this

I carry an awesome set of tools in my pockets so if you have re-construction issues I have solutions!

You betcha those are from the Eddie Bauer edition of the clear-scaled Wenger SAK. With a knife + wood you can make tooth picks but the tweezers are a must. I have Grandchildren and don't like seeing or hearing their suffering from splinters.

Link to Grandson, Henry's two today, seen here is his giant inflatable Gerbil ball which he can make roll even without the help of his big Sister, wants splinters removed ASAP: http://imageshack.com/a/img844/4644/z0at.jpg

I found a replacement set of the smaller size toothpicks on the big auction site....set of 6 for $1 plus a couple $ for shipping.
I only needed one, but now have 5 backups :)

I have seriously been thinking about putting in slots, in the handle slabs one of my Alpha Folders, for the sak tweezers and toothpick.

the tweezers from [+] knives are awesome! they work really well for the tinest splinter.....I have all sorts of tweezers nothing matches those in [+] knives. yes I made my tooth pick too....LOL
yes set my up for a nose job! next week! mine seems bigger than others...LOL

I'll have to check that out......I have so many missing the toothpicks....Nothing compares to the [+] Tweezers I have Dr Tweezers all sorts of kinds they don't work as good as those little ones in the knife....

thanks for tip Chris on the toothpick....I like original even though I did make my own for them.

Thanks Ed, thats good size pocket knife.........I have been aquiring the smaller pockets lately, but when I try to pick them up or open them they flip & flap right out of my hand like minnow....LOL

USMule, it is really a sheath knife because of the size. Hard to find a folding hunter made be anybody that comes with a sheath.

I know I also laugh out loud when people call 110's a pocket knife in their listings. LOL
Never in my wildest dream would I carry a 110 in my pocket....112 yes if I was in a hurry and needed to grab something quick.

thanks for the info edbeau....

I lost my Buck Lux Pro! I carried her in that little coin pocket by my right pocket. It's a sad day... So now I'm carrying my Marksman! So far I love it!!!!!
