  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's missing from my collection? (another what should I get...)

AlonzoMosely: Regarding your question about the Shrike. It does not have the same deep pocket carry of the Sere 2000. I had a chance to handle and fool around with a Shrike at a recent show. It is very smooth and custom feeling (just like the Sere I own). I also like the longer blade of the Shrike. The one part of the Shrike design I do not like, is that there is no guard designed into the handle. It seems that your hand could easily slide forward, with heavy use, onto the blade.

After reading the review of it on jungletraining.com, I ordered the Sere 2000. Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I held a Strider fixed blade this weekend. Wow! I may start saving up for one of those. What do they do to get that camo color on the blade?
