My next favorite thing in the world after choo-choos is BFM’s (big f’n machines). I just retired from an IT career earlier this year, and I often wonder ‘what if’ I had gone into a career in my biggest obsession since childhood. Those things are so cool.

My son is studying computer science in college so he will be doing something along the lines of what you retired from. Should be plenty of opportunities for him I’m hoping.

I hope so too. I worked in IT for about 20 years. Unfortunately, it looks like IT employment might be one of the first victims of AI.
