What's New at Niagara Specialty Metals

Will Max be available through the web store?

Nice job on the new store website, too! I was perusing...what is 9V?? New version of 10V?
It is nearly as old as 10V. Basically 10V with lower carbon. The comparisons charts typically show it having really high toughness but that is for a low recommended hardness. It is possible to heat treat it harder but it probably makes more sense to use CPM 10V.

I just received some magnacut from NSM and the certification sheet says that the county of origin is the USA.

Is there still old stock working its way out?

Good news for Magnacut.

Getting ready for Friday. We are shearing a couple hundred more strips tonight to get ready for the big day. So excited to see the response to this so far. Please register on our website if you haven't already done so. You can ignore that biohazard bin.IMG_8199.jpegIMG_8198.jpegIMG_8196.jpeg

Had the privilege to tour the Niagara Specialty Metals facility today with Larrin Larrin and his family - his first time seeing the mill. Bob nsm nsm walked us through and we all got a chance to see the crew in action. I managed to get a shot of Larrin with the finish rolling crew.

It was great meeting his family - his kids are very polite, and his bride has a great sense of humor.
