What kind of knife would you like to see next from Becker? Personnally I'd like a hunter/utility with around 4'' blade 8'' oal. I find the BK2 too big and overbuilt for my uses, and the Necker/Eskabar a bit too small. What do you guys think?

Khukris of course. Machax in particular.

Another machete... or giant chopper.

The tweeners ARE coming. hunter/utility shapes in the mid-range.

Probably a few other things we can only dream about :)

I've heard of some "tweeners" coming out for 2011. Lots of us want something bigger than the BK14 and smaller than the BK2.
A hunter or bushcrafter, maybe 3/16" thick, same handles.
I'd love to see a 1/4" thick BK9 type thing. Or a 12" long 1/8" thick machete with the usual handles, a rounded spine, and a scandi grind 5" out from the hilt.

I wanna see a big knife. 12", 3/16-1/4" thick, drop point, total badass JunglasKiller. Something that will make one arm bigger than the other, besides marriage:D

A real BEASTK2, seriously, I want this, bad. I have like big knives since I thought a Kabar 1217 was a big knife. 'Chetes are cool, but just don't have that same feel.

Yup, BEASTK2.

Three of the Protos, I've also seen a CampTweener and a Clip point bowie tweener.

They handle real well.

Second from left! I WANT ONE!!! That is the epitomy of sexy! I certainly hope that one makes it to full production. Even a LE production run.

In case I didn't make myself clear the first time...I WANT ONE!!!

Ahem...one more time for the people in the back row...I WANT ONE!!!

I'll see your second one from the left and raise you the 3rd one from the left with a paracord lanyard and Becker skull.. ;)

Doc, I'm your huckleberry !! I'd like to see Becker make an affordable bushcraft style knife, but then again I'd also like to try the Condors.. bushlore, and sapien..so maybe that affordable market is already cornered??

Thanks Moose! That's exactly what I'm talking about:thumbup:

I'll take the second and third one :D

Third from the left for me. Never met a tanto or a recurve I really liked.

I just want some more re-releases. BK10, BK12, machax, Patrol machete, the works! But I do like the tweeners.

I'm currently making a large zombie destroyer for a fella. 11.75" blade, .25" thick O-1, 2.25" blade height. BK9 shown for size reference. I'll get it cut out today and the pregrind done.. it's going to be a BEAST!!!

You want a beast, well there ya go!! The weight alone will take down a redwood. :D

Making custom blades is fun because the designs vary so much. I work the desing out with the person according to what they want. Sometimes they are blades I would use, and sometimes not. Always fun..

I respect and enjoy the Spyderco brand, but I bet that the Tweeners will give their rehandled bushcraft knife a run for it.
