What's On The Drawing Board? . . . What Else Should Be?

Well, sorry about your lost or forgotten orders 😭
🀣

I keep thinking I want more knives and I have to remind myself that I already have some that aren't in my hands yet. If I keep ordering knives I'll still not have anything in my hands. Lol anything other than the 50 lbs of INFI I already have.

You, me, and probably most that will read this πŸ‘»

Here's a thought for the drawing board...

I was just reading an old post about the early Ron Hood Prototype battle mistress hand ground by the man himself, and it got me thinking. That was 1997, 2027 is less than a year away.... maybe its time for a 30th anniversary straight handled battle mistress? I don't know about you, but my 20th ashbms are just about my favorite big knives. I'd love to get my hands on a new version.

Here's my thoughts. The ashbms are .31, believe the production shbm were .25-.26, and those early photos were .29 I believe. So a 30th anniversary should bring back the .29 infi. I think a 10.5 inch blade with the 5.5 straight handle would make a perfect 16 inch woods knife. Modern magnum handles with a retro texture and gold/bronze/brass tubes. Its an anniversary special, so full meltdown like the ashbm. The logo should be an oval with Busse Combat curving the top, 1997-2027 in the middle, and battle mistress curving the bottom.

Something I can slice a lime, cut a steak, has a bottle opener and a pry/scraper end. 2-3 inch blade. Something easily carried iwb of board shorts while on vacation or hanging around the campfire at night.
Warm weather is coming and vacations are on my mind!
Could be called...The Bar Hog?

How about a WTFB - War Train Fusion Bowie, with substantial, fully sharpened swedge for back cuts. Or even better, give it a coffin handle (but slightly longer than the handles on the Trough Raider and the Forefather Bowie, with flush ground spine.)
Well thought out ! πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Yes! Also 5.5 - 6.5" with single edge (Cali/Australia legal). πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

Double edge is legal in Cali haha. But, I will support anyone's ability to get a knife they need and will forgo an option for a fellow in need.

With that said you can always ask them not to sharpen one side...

And also single sided version os basically tgnano...

Hmmmm, yes. Factory option, one side left dull. That works!
It could always be " improved " down the track, if that were ever necessary... πŸ˜ƒπŸ‘πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί
