What's on your bench????

It ain't much but it's enough to keep me busy for a while:

The top knife I've had around for a while, someday I'l get it done.

Next one down is a handle job for my dad.

The one with the file guide is hopefully gonna be a great little knife, but I don't know if I'm talented enough to pull off what I've got planned for it.

The next two down still have to be profiled.

The one on the right is an old Kiffe knife that I'm gonna re handle with a stacked leather washer and clean it all up, get a new sheath made for it. Comes with a nice fork/knife combo that fits in the pocket on the sheath.

That's about it for now. -Matt-

I actually counted the knives that are being worked on and it was 25 knives as of the time I took the photo this morning! I got three finished today so there are "just" 22 knives in the works right now.... I was a bit surprised when I started counting.

This was about a weeks worth of work. I haven't had much time to post them.

My second knife. This time its a friction folder. Hardware to screw it all together is on its way, right now its just pinned together with cut off nails that I was using for alignment. Blade is 1095, which I still need to heat treat, and the handle scales and backspacer are .125 aluminum (5454 I think). Blade is right at about 2" long. Hopefully the heat treat goes well and it cleans up nice. Wish me luck!
