Are your pants custom made too? I don't think I have a pair with belt loops that will take a belt wider than 1.75 inches.

Nope, believe it or not, most of the belt loops of my selvedge denim jeans accept a 2.00-inch wide belt.

Been wearing the hell out of a pair of Crocs with canvas slip on upper (look very traditional) that I bought at Bass Pro. Like them so well, that I bought a second pair a couple months ago. I use them for non-work activities and non-woods walking.

Essentially I would wear them anywhere "boat shoes" are an acceptable choice.
