what's on your short list?

I will prolly get some more Skeleton Keys.

SK's are my gift of choice to loved ones as of late.

I might do to an SK, the same as Santi did to a Basic#3, for my wife. with a "Nice" Teal wrap (Caint spel Turquoise) sort of a pretty light blue shiny rock color.

P.S.
This is soooo much cheaper than the year I gave way Straight Battle Mistress's, or even the year I gave away mix and match Basics.

Right now I'm seeking a 5/16" SHBA with the smooth bolts and looks the world like it's A2, but in fact INFI. There are 2 I'm sure of. 1, I carry and the other was sold on the exchange a few months back by Gator97. I am so bummed that I was so broke at that time. I want to back up my EDC blade in the worst way. Person that bought it never responded to the thread, so I have no idea where it is.

I know it's not common, but I like it on my belt better than in the safe. To me, it's the perfect Busse.

Hey Mike, if ya got one of these laying around, I have a PE Tanker-A. LOL Got some other neat stuff too if I can ever locate this blade. No triple ground NO, but have the recurve (I know you have one also).

Wetdog,

I sold a knife like you are describing in SoCal about the time the E-Models
Came out,,,,so that would prolly make three.

My true 5/16ths,Triple grind, Straight Handled Badger(The Infamous "Fat Bastard") has the tube type handle fasteners
I picked up at a meeting with Jerry and the Gang in Wauseon at the Pizza
place June 22,,,,right now I forget the year,,,,,I have slept since then.

It was the year the E-models were introduced at The Blade Show.
I got the Game Warden that was Shown at the show that year as well.
You know,,,I just might have taken a few more knoves than that home with me that trip as well.

I first saw the E-Models that Jerry took with him to the Shot Shot earlier that year,,,,,But that is a whole nother story.

I am jonesing for one of those forged Bowies!!!!!! I am also good to go for whatever Jerry and the Swampers bring to Blade. :D

Andre

Cool. There may be more than 3 considering they weren't listed as being anything special. Like I said, mine was sold to me as A2. Same thing happened with a SHSHII that I bought as A2 and later turned out to be INFI.

It is exactly like my fat A2 Badger, even down to the smooth bolts. The only difference is the INFI dimples in one and smooth steel in the other.

Rob, is it like the bottom one?

Looks exactly the same. LOL I had to do a quick wash on the handles to see what the micarta looked like. They were quite black from being next to my skin.

Would you happen to have any close ups of the tang or the ricasso? If you put a bit of oil on it those INFI dimples will show right up, if it's INFI. A2 is pretty much smooth

Older badgers, Mean streets - some come up from time to time, but haven't yet been motivated enough to part with the cash I just love the simple lines, full height grind, etc. etc. etc. For me, this approaches the ideal.

Active duty - waiting for them to come up in the rotation

Bad Apple

SHSH - preferably one that's been there, done that, and looking for more (i.e. not a safe queen)

Probably the folder - it would be easy for Jerry to sell a ton of rather generic tactical folders (like the Rat Trap - no criticism, but it's not so different from many things already on the market) I assume that, if he's actually working on a folder and not just teasing us, it is something that will be top-notch, even if it's just a super beefy, super well made version of existing technology.

hmmmmmmmmmm
crinkle coat basic 3, 5 and 9 (possibly also a 7, get the old set back together)
4" and 8" pbf's
fusion battle mistress
skeleton key

and i say this as i wonder, "do i have enough to get the soup and salad lunch special at olive garden?.... cause i really dont want to overdraw my account again" :(

I ought to go rooting around in the safe more often. Found a fourth SHSH WAAAAAY in the back looking for the A2 Badger. THAT was really neat. Now I just need to clean out my Explorer where a SHBA may be lurking. Or perhaps I sold it. I haven't cleaned it out or seen the knife since the middle of 2002, so who knows? I might get lucky. LOL

I can offer the inventory service that you need. The charge will be a reasonable 10% of items inventoried ;)

I am pretty sure it is INFI, I'll take a closer picture.

Right now I'd like to add a 6" PBF, a SK, and a Swamp Rat Assault Shaker or two.

here in the next few months i might go looking for an active duty.

can someone tell me the difference between the custom shop version and the new line up? i assume the custom shop version has a very hi fit/finish in comparison to the production version but are they ground the same?
