If you ever held one, you would see in an instant that it more than approaches the ideal, it IS the ideal. Wear the smooth grips next to your skin for 12-16 hrs/day compared to the diamond quilt and you REALLY appreciate. I gotta say though, the pattern on the AD is not rough on the skin. I don't carry IWB, but the handle is tucked tightly against my side.

My acid test is being able to sleep, wearing the knife and lying on top of it. If it doesn't poke or bruise or even better, if I don't feel it at all, I'm a happy camper. This is when I'm straight. Passed out drunk doesn't count. LOL

From what I understand, the AD's are to be unchanged from the older ones, so fit and finish should be the same depending on what you order. I'm going to pick up another one of these, super nice EDC and a very handy blade shape to boot. I'd snag one if you can. They don't seem to hang around very long when offered. There's a good reason for that.

I had a panic this past weekend. Could not find my SHSH-II that I take to all the shows. Realized I hadn't seen it since Knob Creek. HOLY CRAP!! :eek:

When I finally accepted the possibility I may have left it in Louisville, I found it. Hasn't left my sight since.....

I'd like to eventually get a replacement SHBA w/tubes in INFI like the minty one I traded to Josh (Seth Murdoc). Man I miss that pup. Maybe if i don't go too nuts in Atlanta...
 
Thought it might of been that 'chunky' SHSHII I got from you, but that was a couple of years back. Slotted bolts, lil lanyard on the end. Still got it, resting in a Leatherman sheath. It's a keeper BTW.
