What's that one knife(s) you missed out on?

Emerson Persian, I really wish I would have bought it instead of my first cqc7, I held them both and the 7 came home with me. I can't complain though buying that first Emerson knife really got me hooked. (I think my wife would differ on that)

I'm sure I'll get one sooner or later....

Once tried to get a beautiful khanjar on ePray... thought I had won the auction, but it turned out the seller had a reserve that was quite a bit higher than his minimum bid. Even after it was re-listed, I still couldn't seem to afford his reserve... I don't know if it was sold or what, but I didn't get it. :(

Safe keeper 1 (the original gienomrous pushblade). I should have picked up a few more when I could. Took me 10+years but now I have 2 and couldn't be happier. I'm always on the look out for #3 and #4 though

That's happened to me too. That whole reserve thing drives me up the wall. Just start the bidding at the minimum price wanted. Aaaarrgh.

Anyway - some I missed:

- CRKT Viele Wasp. Had a chance, waited, went to get it, sold out. :( Got one from a member here later.

- Spyderco Kopa, something-or-other handle mat'l. By the time I decided I liked it, they were gone in the mat'l I wanted. Taught me not to sit on my hiney when I like something.

There have been others. Many, MANY others.

thx - cpr

The Spyderco leafstorm looked like a cool and unusual knife. I would like to have nabbed one of those. Or any one of the ER folders here in the exchange I always seem to miss.

I had a chance to grab a Timascus Scott Cook Lochsa. I vascillated about buying it, and by the time I HAD decided TO get it, it was too late! :(:(

AGRussell Sting - original 1977 version.
They sold for $30 then and are worth 10-15X that now...shoulda bought $300 worth back then.

Scrap Yard DOgfather, three times. El Clintor's, and two recent ones that popped up like two days ago.

:(
Still hoping that one will pop up as soon as I get enough funds. Oh well, Ive still got a SOD:p

Spyderco Jess Horn - the original with jigged bone scales. Was more into Emersons at the time.

Jimmy Lile Model 19 - $275 and I could of ordered one. Still have the catalog. At least I still have my Model 1.

Emerson CQC-6 - Had a chance to buy one at BLADE several years past for $300.

Bob Terzuola Fixed Blade - forget the name, but the Gryphon M-30A1 is based off it. While attending the Riddle of Steel in 1995 I passed a chance to buy one in great shape with a black Micarta handle.

There are a few others, but those are the main ones that stand out to me.

Right here on BF, a nice Dozier Pro-Guide and a really nice Culti both at fire sale prices...
