What's that under the Tree?---Walrus Artifact/Feather Blade Hunter

Just so you guys will know, in keeping with my never ending attempt to make customer service my main focus, I OFFERED to fill the cracks in the handle with grey/black JB weld and grind off that rough butt. John turned my generous offer down! What's up with that?;)

Ahh...this is the kind of information I seek! I'll get me some JB weld and try it on my artifact handles tonight!

Well, maybe I'll leave them be :D

Well John, It's all been said. What a fine way to put that piece of ivory back to work.

The walrus used it, the native hunter used it, you have masterfully used it and now your customer and his progeny will get to use it, forever, I hope.

Man, are we good for the environment, or what (you know, 'cuzz we recycle and stuff).

Great work, Mark

Man that damascus is outrageous! beautiful knife, great size and design. wish it were under my tree.

Don't know who makes the nicest looking feather pattern
but you could give anyone a run for their money, John.

Just love how you did the guard/ferrule and the artifact walrus is smoking.
Paul's sheath finishes a fantastic combo.

WOW !

This little knife seems to have hit it off with a number of folks. Thanks to all who've commented and dropped by this thread.

After a few days of hand sanding, slicing fingers, and correcting mistakes, it's really pleasant to find people liking the result.

Thanks again.

John
