What's that you're eating?

^^^^He's right, that's my bottom bitch right there. It better really be for your birthday though. If I found out you booked for a birthday but instead it was for a bachelor party, Ima have to swing by to pick up his extra cut in person. That's a different show, and he doesn't mind the extra work, but I gotta take him off the schedule for a few days for the swelling to go down, so yous gots to pay extra fo' dat.

Grenock Grenock says I’m everybody’s favorite smoker!
But you’ll have to schedule through him or I’ll get a beatdown.

The food orgy continued tonight for our anniversary...gonna have to eat ramen for the rest of the lol. Been wanting to try this place for a while, and holy shit!

Started with seafood bisque and a scallop/crab/lobster cake...both awesome.

Then for dinner the wife got this ridiculous Japanese cajun swordfish with shrimp and a huge crab/lobster rangoon. She let me have a couple of the shrimp and they were so freakin good.

And I got this enormous braised short rib. Ate a chunk but the leftovers look like I barely put a dent in it.

No after pics, but this ribeye was fantastic! Stopped for fuel yesterday and the gas station ended up having a full market inside, including some fantastic beef.

Good lord. I’ve never seen more marbled beef. Even the American wagyu at our local market isn’t that pretty. Nice job! Would have loved to see finished pics.

Yeah. I'm REALLY curious as to what kind of 'gas station' has that quality of meat?

They had it labeled as American wagyu, and I assume it was from local farms. I didn’t realize this gas station was a ā€œgeneral storeā€ when I stopped, but the selection inside was amazing. I ended up getting several packages of meat and iced them down in the cooler for the trip home. A fortunate pit stop while driving home from a meeting out of town. PM me for a more detailed location.

I picked up this Wagyu Tri Tip for this weekend too. I am nervous about cooking it though. Lots of fat to render without flaring up the grill and burning it!

Dang. The only kind of meat I've seen in any of my local gas stations, are the ground rat burritos, and the mystery meat sausages that have probably been on the rollers for the past 2 years šŸ˜…

And you can keep 'em all.
