  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What's that you're eating?

please

please explain this
Wife had the day off so she made me a little frozen yogurt bowl for breakfast. I know she uses Greek yogurt and frozen fruit, but I couldn’t say exactly what was in this one. I think the green is from baby spinach. I think there might have been some carrot and strawberry and banana. The scooped bits are dragonfruit. All I know is it’s tasty. Feels like desert for breakfast.

So, here are a couple of things that I've eaten recently.

First is a side order of pork rinds with a 2nd glass of Elysian Space Dust that I had for lunch the other day.. Also ordered had a Bratwurst topped w/sauerkaut and brown mustard with a salad and the 1st glass of Space Dust but I forgot to take a photo of them.

Next is a bowl of steamed white long grain rice topped with sliced Chinese sausage, some cremini mushrooms, a dollop of hoisin sauce and a handful of sliced green onions that I made for a late night "snack."

Last is something that I haven't eaten "yet" but soon hope to do so. It's a budding Oyster Mushroom "plant" that I bought at the Martinez Farmer's Market a couple of weeks ago. It got off to a slow start but is really starting to grow now and I'm looking forward to harvesting some to eat soon. :)

Also did twice baked potatoes that everyone grabbed before I got a pic.

My daughter and I brought half of this to a couple of neighbors one who is about to begin chemo treatments. She was especially appreciative.
I've said it before, I'm gonna come down. I'll stay for a month, I'll work on the farm for free, all you have to do is feed me.
