What's the average age around here?

Ha, well it's certainly nice to know that I'm not the only "kid" on the forums.

Opps! Almost forgot! 16 y.o.:D

According to the tallys chalked up on my cell wall I'm 29. The big
3-0 in two weeks. I've been told things get real interesting after that.
D.

It sure seems like us old folks are way outnumbered by the youngsters, but ya know what? I can remeber when sex couldn't kill ya,(unless her father caught you) and the legal drinkin' age in Jersey was 18:D .

39 - but the ponytail and the lack of grey make me look 25.

What can I say - I'm a walking advertisement for sunscreen...

I had my annual physical yesterday, and the doctor reminded me with a chuckle that at 40 years old, you get poked & prodded in ways you never have before!

At least I'm in fairly good shape; chest x-ray showed my lungs are now clear after being smoke free for 2 years, and my EKG is normal.

I can't wait until next January, when I'm 41 1/2.

41, but you are only as old as you feel. I spend every chance I get making my way to the summit of Sierra peaks. Nothing like standing on top of the world (at least on a local scale).

I knew that a gap was developing when my students at UCDavis didn't catch the Monty Python references.

glennbad, I can pick Ian Anderson out of a lineup.

morgoth412, am I correct in assuming you got your name from the Silmarillion?

Walt, tell yourself what I tell myself; you have almost reached your prime. Does that mean we have to prime our pumps pretty soon? Shoot, most of these folks still just pups! Pretty good litter, though. I turned 58 2/10.

This is strange, some of you guys have made me feel a little old. Usually it's the other way around, like when I tell one of my senior NCOs in his mid 30s that I was born in 1983. The looks they get on their faces are hysterical. If you don't want to do the math that makes me 19, since I was born in July. Not old enough to drink, not even here in Korea, but old enough to join the army. And naive enough to do it and expect to like it. I feel a lot older now than when I was 18.

Asha'man, I see you must be another Robert Jordan fan. I'm re-reading those books myself right now, currently on The Lord of Chaos. I'm starting to wonder if they'll ever be finished though; ten books in twelve years and no end in sight. They're still great reading though.
