What's the average age around here?

10 Apr 42

The answer is still: "Sex, Drugs, and Rock n' Roll"
and shotgun pipes w/fishtails forever....

BOC: "needs more cowbell"...

Doin' it 'one day at a time', since the '60's (most of which I have little to no memory of).

47 and fallin' apart this year :D. Torn rotator cuff, nasty bad left knee. Guess I am due for surgery on both, but still fighting it :D.
One of these days I'll get around to realizing that I should not be doing the things I want to do. On the other hand maybe not. ;)

LOL. Time for me to quit, so I won't have to tell people I can't remember much of the '00s. :)

The $2 knife that I gave my waitress girlfriend when I was away at college is 32 years old now. Buildings that were built when I was in highschool have been torn down and replaced with new buildings. Alice Cooper is 5 years older than I am. I flew back from Europe in '71 with a cheap French switchblade in my back pocket.

34 years old and I thought I was the pup of the crowd. Damn I'm getting old-where the hell did the time go?

I turned 40 last summer. It has been an interesting journey so far. I am old enough to have openly carried a pocket knife in school!

44. Will be 45 in June.

As Indiana Jones said in Raiders - "Honey, it ain't the years... it's the miles..."

I don't remember when I got my first knife, but I do remember the principal taking it away in the 3d grade...

Yea. Blown c5/6 and c6/7 and fighting off surgery. The arms only go numb once in a while. The "burn" is worse. I told the neurosuergeon that I thought I'd call the VA and blame it on all the years of steel pots and kevlar hard lids...

I fount the "Have you Served" thread VERY enlightening, too.

I'm 30, which surprises no one more than me...
I used to carry a fixed blade at school, well known to the administration. The prinicipal also caught my friend and I detonating rather sizeable black powder bombs out in the middle of the school field and did nothing other than chuckle and ask us to do that elsewhere. (and he was kind of a hardass most of the time too...)

It's amazing what a difference 15 years makes;; any of that stuff nowadays would have landed us in the slammer ASAP.

I'm 18, and have been on this forum since I was 14 or 15. Anyoe remember my old name Kyui Gothic??

I'm 18 - still have to remind myself of that sometimes. I can buy tobacco, porn, knives, long guns and lotto tickets legally, as well as be charged as an adult. The time she flies, by golly.

But when I'm old (yeah, like fifties :p) I'm still gonna be cool - pay attention to pop culture, drive a cool car (Mustang still, baby!), etc. Like a lot of you older guys here, actually. :D

Ash

edit: w00t! 450th post! :D

I'm 19

By the way I hear y'all talk about how you age, I'd hate to picture how a weightlifter with a funky right wrist is gonna be when he's 40......

Yer all scarin' me.
