Will make and show, no problem. Actually I think I messed up a bit because the rest is the same. It's the platen body that was beefed up.
I gring freehand, don't use the rest.

Ah, I see. I put my glass on the stock platen--it seems sturdy enough? I just use the rest for profiling. I do notice I can use more pressure before the motor stalls with the glass on--it was worth the (admittedly small) effort.

Here are the rest that I made but do not use and the platen. I also replaced the switch that failed about a year ago.
