Whats the best edc you've owned?

My favorite is the BM Rift. I have had one in my RFP every single day since they first were introduced years ago. It has been a constant companion and is my favorite design and I have owned and handled hundreds of knives, many costing much more. It is a great knife but it is what I like after trying many knives. If you pick a design you like from a reputable company and that has good reviews you can't go wrong. Don't be scared of spending more money if it is something you like. If you can find one you really like it might even save you money in the long run, even spending more up front. Good luck in your quest.

My current fave is a Spydie Police3, bought it a year ago and this was hands down the one i carried the most since then, the second one being the Streetbeat.
I got hooked onto the Chinook1 when it was released, i carried one for roughly 5 years along with a Millie.

I've carried a Spyderco Paramilitary 2 of some sort since they came out. Great all around knife for me.

Easy. My Benchmade 707 Sequel. I never handled a Sebenza, but it can´t be THAT much better than the 707.

I've been using the same Murray Carter neck knife for 6 years, and it is still my favorite, most comfortable, sharpest, most useful knife I have ever owned. I also really loved carrying my Izula until it fell in a lake. Obviously I am a fixed blade guy.... you get a lot more bang for your buck with less moving parts.

It was my Benchmade Elishewitz ats-34 then that was replaced by my Spyderco pacific salt... then that was replaced by my Tobin Smith pocket carry EDC. which was gifted to a friend of mine for his wedding (Tobin, if you're looking I'd like another one).

So the best I've had so far is the one from Tobin, followed by the Pacific Salt...

The way I ranked it is how well it's done everything I've asked (this has changed over time).

Case Medium Stockman CV ... it was my only knife for a very, very long time ... next to a Vic Classic which is on my keychain for almost more than 10 years...

esee-3 and the izula. 1095 steel is wonderful. and you cant really go wrong with a fixed blade

best folder?
large- either the smf or umnumzann
medium- h1 salt endura sized (i love the endura but i needed a little more rust proofness)
small- not sure i never got into smaller blades for my edc

Longest carried and used knife I own is the BM AFCK in ATS-34 Steel I got in mid 1990's.

Second was the BM 910 Stryker

Currently the BM Rift and starting to carry the Contego.
