Whats the best edc you've owned?

My favorite has to be the ZT 056x series. I carry an 0560 in my casual clothes and an 0561 at work.

Can't pick just one. In no particular order:

PM2
Superleaf
Rift
0550
0560
S30V Blur (just wish it came tapped for LH tip-up carry)

Spyderco Delica hands down! Carried for 4 years and never let me down. Cut everything that needed cutting even with a few chips in the blade. Lost it down a sewer, but I have a blue one on the way as I type this. Been to long without one :)

After getting my hands on some Chris reeves, striders and hinderer's. I can honestly say none of them fit my needs better than the Benchmade 710. That 4 inch recurve blade cuts like no other knife I have carried and it is light and slim in the pocket.the axis lock is a joy to use and is fun to play with as well. I much prefer my m390, m2hs and CPM m4 blades but the standard D2 blade is an excellent choice. I always prefer a Benchmade BK1 coating since D2 is a non stainless steel. But any model of the 710 is an excellent EDC. My only gripe about the 710 is the G10 could be a little bit more textured but that is no big deal.

I've somehow managed to have never bought a lot of the classics mentioned on this board so often. Never had a benchmade 710 or griptilian, delica, buck 110, or leek. Would be fun to get them all in one go, spread them out on the carpet and flail around like Scrooge McDuck swimming in his safe, maybe make some knife angels or something.

Sebenza Classic. I've owned customs and many of the mainstream Spydercos and Benchmades. We will see when the Spyderco Southard shows up if that moves to the top.

There are too many to list!

Heres a few that I have found to be the "best"

Sebenza 21, such a great value and will last a lifetime with a great customer service backing itQ

Strider SnG/SMF, One of the most comfortable knives out there and strider's customer service is as good as it gets!

XM18 3.5, You'll know what I mean if you've held one.

Kershaw Blur, Great value

and of coarse the Spyderco Manix 2 because it's so much knife for the $.

The 710 I agree cuts extremely well. It needs to be given more credit for that.

It's not a high-dollar superknife like lots of the others listed, but my Kershaw OD-1 is my favorite. It's nice and thin and narrow, so it doesn't take up too much room in the pocket, but it's long enough to give a good grip and enough blade to do the cutting I need to do. I only do basic general cutting, not chopping through cinder blocks, so the thin piercing blade is great for me.

Best edc longest lasting

I've got a Case Trapper I've used alot since the late 70's, but it does now have a bit of blade play. Same with a Spyderco Endura I bought in the early 90's. Bought one of the first Benchmade AFCK's not long after that, and the back screw started coming loose after a few years.

So I'll say my 1999 small Regular Sebenza. Sent it in for a refurb not long ago, and there was no way to tell it wasn't brand new when I got it back. Never had one problem with it. Then again, they are expensive, so I expect it to last longer.

I've tried many knives, but I always end up back with my small Sebenza. It's not perfect, but it gets so many things right, and the craftsmanship is about as good as it gets.

My favorite today, is my Emerson Roadhouse, but the Gayle Bradley and an S30V Military find more than a little time in my pocket.
