What's the BEST KNIFE DEAL You Ever Got?

OK, thats it, i am going to start shopping at the bladeshop. Maybe something wrong with thier computers or something?

I think they have multiple locations or something, so they send it from multiple stores by accident. I've gotten $110 in free knives from them though. I asked them if they wanted me to send them back, they said yes, and said they were going to send me packaging, but never did. (It's been 3 years since I got the buck's, a couple weeks for the sog and cold steel). I just wish they had sent me two of the microtech ultratech's I bought:D Bet they would have sent me some packaging for that.

In ~ 1970 a guy asked me if I wanted to buy four Samurai blades .He just hade the blades , no sheath or handles . I didn't have any extra money so I offered to trade an old Ithaca pump. I gave three of the blades away. Years later I had it appraised and found out it is a 528mm wakizizashi with a gunome temper line of the nrol style made 400 years ago AND worth quite a bit more than a new Ithaca pump

I just bought three Cold Steel War Head knives for $39. While it may not be the best deal I ever got, it's certainly one of the better ones. I also got two CS Konjos for a hundred apiece, which I thought was an exceptional deal.

I bought a Columbia River Knife and tool M1 for about $30 bucks. I've carried it for about three years now and it's never failed me yet.

I was on R & R in Hong Kong, it was early 1970....I was walking past a Chinese hardware store, and noticed a few knives among the many items on display in the window.
I went inside and purchased a Carl Schlieper "Eye Brand" (Solingen Germany) forged-carbon Sodbuster for the princely sum of two U.S. dollars....still one of my favorites after all these years

Every time I buy a knife from a maker who is nice enough to give me a military discount. Always appreciated, thank you very much. :)

I bought a Randall (can't remember the model!) several years ago from a pawn shop. Paid only $35.00 for it. Later sold the knife for over $400.00.

I hate to support Wally World but sometimes the prices cannot be beat. Buck 110 is $26.00. Nylon sheath (which I prefer) instead of leather. Brand new, original box and papers. It was a little gritty out of the box, so I spent a happy hour cleaning it. Yes, it is a real Buck, has all the markings, and is made in US.

I showed it to a buddy of mine who has a knife shop and he confirmed it was the real deal. He said that the best price he could get from Buck was $30.00 wholesale. This after years of being one of their dealers.

My best bargain was an old bone-handled "thumbprint - blade" carver by J Rodgers of Sheffield. Found it on the floor of a garage that was being bulldozed. Cost $0. These knives are irreplaceable as the skills to make them this way seems to have been lost.

Hi,

mine would be my incredibly reliable Catbyrd at $26.00 !!

I purchased my first sebenza on ebay, A Large Regular Made in mid 99. She has a BG-42 Blade, is MINT and Scary Sharp. She was a safe queen for 8 years. The guy needed money for christmas gifts. I bid the $280 opening bid and he ended the auction early and sold it to me for that price, shipping and insurance included...!!!
