What's the best knife you have ever made

This is my best so far. Integral dagger.

Mike, I remember you posting that when it was finished. If memory serves me, all that engraving was "extra". I have always been curious as to how well the reveal went as I think it was purchased as a gift.

Chris

The first one of this type they just said they wanted a letter opener, and the engraving was a surprise. Then the person that got that as a gift bought one 'just like it but do what you want' to also give as a gift. That's this one and the copper and brass inlay was surprise. Neither was expecting anything like it, especially since I hadn't done anything that ambitious before (by a long shot), and seemed pretty amazed when they saw them. Turned out to be well worth it since when I posted it on facebook someone my brother went to the seminary with 30some years ago saw it and wants an 18" chefs knife that's Michael the Archangel themed with wings inlaid on the blade. That's now turned into a three knife set and should really be something when it's done.

(edit) I should add, both those orders were for family members so I wanted to throw in something extra.
