What's the best looking fixed blade in your opinion?

The Kobold Big Dipper in SM-100 is pretty damn sexy in my opinion, but completely impractical at $1500 bucks.

Grind on that looks like ass for 1500 bones... Just my honest opinion. Pretty uneven.

Also, what's up with that choil? "You gonna put your finger here? Think again!" Lol

And to boot, they couldn't even throw in a lanyard tube???

Yeah that handle looks a bit wonky too IMO, but I thought it may have been cut out in Photoshop by somebody who didn't know how to do it properly. Meh, now I'm not so sure... That IS a bare lanyard hole.

Both of these are absolutely gorgeous American made beauties to me. (The Randall could use some love but it isn't mine so it's not for me to do)

For current production knives, probably those from Hess Knifeworks. Excellent prices too. I bought the one below about six months ago for less than $80.

Hess Whitetail with stacked leather. USA made in Gladstone MI by former Marbles employees. Blade is GEC.

Great fixed blades being presented here.
I like ALL of them but I am still partial to my old Westerns. Here are a few.
If I posted them before sorry.
Ps I threw in a Sears Craftsman [Schrade 165] Deerslayer for good measure

Really don't know much about Hess knives. Is the blade being made by GEC the "norm" or was it something special?

Those Westerns are so classic, great knives. Great collection there Bloefield. I got a history lesson when I restored this one, folks here on the forum told me this one dates back to 1928-1933

Wow - there are some magnificent blades in this thread!

Of the knives I currently own, my two favorites are...

The Buck 119 (in 5160):

Very different designs, but I think they both look great.
