Get the Micarta Scales and you will like it even more!!! But put some loctite on the screws. They tend to loosen if you do a lot of chopping. That handle is quite nice for chopping. I like the BK2 more than the RC5 merely because of the handle design is more geared towards chopping and bushcraft and less towards SERE. But the RC5 was and is a tank! Just different purpose.
