What's the folder in Skyfall?

Best I could do

The 1st pic looks like a full flat grind blade w/ a spydie hole? Almost like a full-size calypso.
But not the 2nd!

It could easily be two different knives. I have noticed in other Bond movies where Bond has two different guns in the same shootout when there is a scene change. I don't like Craig as Bond, he just doesn't have it. After his first movie he was lamenting the fact that he felt disgusted every time he had to handle guns during the filming. He is a self proclaimed anti-gun person who makes his money portraying the use of guns. Pretty hypocritical IMO.

So is S. Connery, Stallone, Arnold and few others who use guns to make millions in movies.

some of the greatest war heroes were anti-gun, anti-weapon and anti-violence people...I can't see the bad in the that. I think Craig plays Bond very good, also when he's handling a gun. To him, it's a tool to do his work, a necessary evil, hence the tossing away when the clip is empty.

Excellent blowing up action. Dunno what the knife was either. I was disappointed in the puny little .380 (a.k.a. 9mm short) Walther, tho'. Someone better clue in "Q".

I like that photo. Reminds me of my metallic silhouette days .I regularly used my knife to pick out copper jacket pieces from my arm. My m29 would spit pieces of jacket just below my elbow.I would calmly pick it out with my pocket knife . Didn't bother me though one female spotter turned pale and said 'I wish you had told me you'd do that '
S&W then redesigned the forcing cone and no more spitting.

Everyone I know who has seen the movie enjoyed it even those who weren't real Bond fans.

Yes, I know. That is why I don't spend my money at the theater to support them. I can wait to see it when it is on TV. Yes I know they are getting royalties but that will happen regardless of who views them.

I went and saw it. Spent almost $12 to go. I won't do that again any time soon. The movie was okay, not nearly as good as Casino Royale but thankfully better than that "other one".

I will be seeing the first Hobbit film in iMax though. Can't wait!

Daniel Craig is my favorite Bond, after Sean Connery, that is. One of the advantages that Craig has over all the other Bonds, though, is that he's the only one who looks like he could physically kick butt and take names.

I thought Skyfall was a great movie. I consider how good a movie is by how entertained I felt throughout, and Skyfall never had me feeling bored even for a minute.

When I saw the knife in the movie, I originally thought it looked like some type of liner-lock one-hander.

For myself, a particular actor doesn't have to share my every viewpoint for me to enjoy his or her work onscreen, or the movies they're in. If that were the case, then I probably wouldn't watch or enjoy much of anything.

I can't help but wonder why so many people don't like Skyfall. I hear a lot of people say that it's too unrealistic. It's a JAMES BOND FILM! I'd love to re-watch whatever Bond films they saw that were perfectly realistic.

Back to the knife: In the first picture, I thought I saw a spydie hole also. I'm pretty sure it's just light reflecting off of the handle bolster, though.

I am still wondering if it makes any sense to strangle a guy while under water....

Yes, actually. You can survive without breathing for about a minute and a half, but a well locked down choke will cut off the blood flow to the brain via the carotid artery. That only takes about 15-20 seconds a lot of the time. Bad guy passes out, lungs fill with water, Bond gets away and catches his breath.

Not a spydie hole. It's got a nail nick close to the tip of the blade. Don't even think I saw an opening stud.

I paid really close attention when I watched the film and couldn't tell what knife he was using. It had a stainless bolster and what looked like sculpted G10 Scales. It looked alot like the benchmade 581 barrage but Im pretty certain it didn't have an axis lock. Maybe it was the Shori.
