I was wondering if anyone has had this happen to them when ordering from Yourcornerstore.com?

On friday feb 19th, I ordered a spyderco Tenacious from them and I paid for United Parcel Service (0.80lbs) (3 Day Select) shipping Cost $15.03 just for the shipping (which I thought is ridiculus but i wanted to get my knife fast)
When I ordered it they said they have 110 In stock and today when I check it they say 106 in stock

well when I go to check my order it still just says Processing??? Its now Wednesday feb 24th, surely it has to have been processed by now?

Should I expect to see my knife today or do I have to wait till the status says shipped? I hate how they billed me instantly right after i placed my order most places wait till they ship it?

any input would be greatly appreciated its the first time i have order from them may be the last depending how this turns out
 
There is another thread going on the subject. Yourcornerstore gets pretty good reviews.

FYI, I ordered a Tenacious from yourcornerstore on Sunday 2/21/10, and received it today Wedn 2/24/10. I used USPS Priority Mail.

My order still says "processing" on the web site, but I think that someone in the other thread indicated that yourcornerstore is located in the Northeast US but the knives are drop-shipped from California.

You're going to get your Tenacious. Hang tough. Try to get your tracking number, and you'll be able to watch your knife in transit.

thanks for the quick responce ill just wait paitently for the ups man :) i hope it does arrive today i wanna test it at work tonight I open alot of boxes at work
 
I've bought from them and they send it a bit slower than some others but you save a few $ so its going to pan out in the end I think. For me here in Oklahoma the fastest shipping of any company is by far Grand Prairie Knives. I've actually ordered and had the knives from them next day at times and usually two days is pretty much standard. I guess they are close by or something though.

New Graham is second but only when they use Priority mail at my request. I get stuff faster that way than UPS in most all cases except when they are close to me geographically.

quick update for yall, I just checked again and my status was changed to order complete with a UPS tracking number says it will arrive on 2/25 I will let you know when i get it
 
Txman, 110 Tenacious in stock....WOW. Sounds like they mirror a distributor out of California website and orders pass-thru their website to the distributor. In my experience, not many knife shops would stock over 100 of a single knife. If the knife is not truly in stock at the dealer, there can be a delay.....
the pass-thru order would explain a short delay in shipping. I would think you would see it soon.

yeah I got a ups tracking number now thankfully Says it departed from San diego, CA... thats all it says lol it left there on the 22nd it hasent gone through any other cities yet which is odd cause its supposed to be delivered tomorrow according to ups
 
7:26 pm Still no knife here yet... dispite ups saying (OUT FOR DELIVERY) sigh I just want my spyderco tenacious i paid for 3 day shipping and its already been 3 days whats the deal? i called there number they say its "on the truck sir, it *should* get to you tonight" right at 7:30 pm? I doubt it

idk if this is YCS or UPS screwing up this time
 
Update for yall. I just recieved my tenacious this thing is wicked awesome!!! and I had no issues what so ever with YCS ill consider them in my next knife purchace, im definately addicted to spyderco now im probably ordering an endura 4 tomorrow
