What's the knife that just always seems to miss out on being your edc?

My SOG Seki made Mini-Tsunami. The knife is a classic. I'd carry it more but the sheath is not up to the standards of my other EDC fixed blades. Haven't gotten around to getting something made for it.

Caly 3.5 CF. . . . carbon fiber . . . zdp-189 . . . is amazing

I'll say !
I'll make you a deal . . . send it to me and I will EDC it for you.
CARRY IT !
Heck . . . it's probably TOO hard to scratch.

As for me
absolutely love, but just never seems to get carried . . .?

Definitely, definitely my Buck 110.
I love the knife. I like the look, I like the quality and feel of it. It's plenty big enough.
but
The blade is too thick
The blade shape is all wrong for how I use a knife (what I use it on as a city slicker)
The knife looks scary to the sheeple.
It's heavy as a hammer head.
and it doesn't have a bottle opener (totally kidding on that last one; I could care less about a bottle opener).

sure is a great knife though. I've had it for 35 years. Carried it one or two years.

BM Mini-Grip

Wow !
That really surprised me. Handle is kind of thick I suppose but WHEN I get one I may just carry it in a pouch rather than use the clip.
A mini grip that is not carried . . . submitted by more than one person here . . . who'd a thought ?

All of them.

Griptilian was one of my first knives and it can do everything. It's the knife this keeps on cutting.

I really like the handle material, although like many, if feels cheap at first. Pretty sure it's BM's version of Grivory, that BM also used on the Pardue. Stuff really is unbreakable. After like 2 decades, the Grip is still almost scratch less, just 2 light marks, and it's been through everything. I remember when the Grip first came out and it's handle material was still experimental, like what is this handle, plastic?

Looking at the Pardue made me scratch my head wondering why there was no frame, only a tiny liner surrounding the lock and pivot. BM must have a lot of confidence in grivory.

G10, FRN, Micarta got nothing on grivory. Said to be the non-metal metal. I'm starting to see it that way too.

Oh, the mini grip has done it's share of duty. These days it's almost like I put it out to pasture to enjoy itself. It's a fantastic knife, but I need to spread the love.
