What's the most bizarre reaction you've gotten to your knives?

at school a friend noticed the clips of my CRKT KFF and my native in my pockets. His comment: "do you feel threatened in any way here?"
Later it turned out, he was into knives as well, so he was just kidding....
when I went to the post office to collect a package (can you guess what was in it

) the clerk tried to open the plastic bag containing the Zahlschein with a dull pair of scissors he ripped them over the plastic again and again and it would only show small ripples. I pulled out my native telling him it would speed things up. He just looked at me speechless... I guess he was close to releasing alarm....
Any knife other than a small SAK seems to be imidately recognised as a weapon by "non-knife-people"

I knew a guy that had a knife inspection as part of his job interview procedure. He figured that any good engineer would at least have an SAK on him. He carried a Puma lockback at the time. He liked it when I had a Victorinox Adventurer SAK with 3.25" locking blade. He hired me into his group.

This is a liitle off topic --

If my blade and I get processed into the legal system, how many folk of the type mentioned above would sit on my jury?

Just a thought...

"Daddy, can you use that to kill monsters?"

That is my favorite, and weirdest response to date.

And Seth, that is a sobering thought...
