and i mean comfortable in the hand, not so much comforting to have.

for me, its got to be the Kershaw/Ken Onion Whirlwind folder i carry. that handle just fits my hand incredibly well.

what is the most comfortable knife you all own? any type. folder or fixed...

My most comfortable would have to be my small Sebbie w/Unique Graphic. I like it so much I plan on getting another small Sebbie, probably plain, as soon as I can put the money together.

I would have to say it's my Camillus/Becker BK7 Combat/Utility. It fits my hand as if it was made for ME, and there are NO sharp-edges anywhere around the grip.

The Cold Steel Tai Pan (that I received today from a trade) also feels GREAT in my hand, due to the Kraton (rubber) grip and the excellent balance.

As for a folder...It is the G-10 Spyderco Police model that is the most "comfortable", in my hand.

I don't own one, but without a doubt the most comfortable knife that I have encountered is the Gerber Gator lockback.

The molded rubber handle is almost perfect from a functional standpoint, and is very unlike the handles on most folders that are available.

Most comfortable folder: Columbia River Knife & Tool, Crawford KFF, (Large fits my hand perfectly, the small is a little short).

Most comfortable fixed blade: Ed Fowler Pronghorn.

Most comfy folder I own has got to be the lg. Gerber Gator in ATS-34. Not the best folder out there, but is certainly the best feeling in my grip.
