what's the most "comfortable" knife you own?

Lofty Wiseman Survival Parang? Where did you get that? I used to have the ol' SAS video and watched many many, many times.

Folder i would say my Ken Onion Aqua, Ken really knows his folders, light & handy and boy oh boy are they comfortable !

Fixed blade, a Tom Mayo hunter that fits my hand like a glove.

Jim Hammond's military grade Cruiser simply rocks in every conceivable way and - it's probably one of the most comforable out there.

Fully sculpted micarta scales; the entire folder is designed to feel like a beautifully contoured fixed blade. You can put the death grip on this thing for extended periods of time and feel all nice and comfy. It handles impact shock excellently and it's generous pommel swell helps to withdraw the knife from whatever got in it's way :)

BM AFCK
Emerson CQC-7
REKAT Carnivore

These are the knives that are "Top drawer", I reach for one of them first every time.

I'd have to go with my Trace Rinaldi Enigma. I picked it up at the vegas classic, and it fit like a glove! :D

For me it would be a toss up between the Spyderco Ayoob or my Buck 532. Both just edge-out my beloved Native.

Al Mar Sere 2K works for me!

It fits my hand like a glove. My wife has carried mine a few times and started to tell me she wants one! I've got to remind her that she has her own knives! Her hands are a LOT smaller than mine but she still likes my S2K... go figure...

Folder - Ferret Predator/Ken Onion Mid Tech Boa, a real toss-up, both feel as if they're an extension of your hand

Fixed Blade - Del Blue Bushido, its hard to tell that you've got that large of a knife in your hand, it just feels like it belongs...

you can buy this at http://www.loftywiseman.co.uk/index.html its quite exensive and only 440a but its well designed. You will need to spend a few hours on the edge when you get it as out of the factory its just been quickly run over a grind stone and has a very poor edge.

The cordura sheath is excellent too (you have to order this seperately) and once you have an edge on it the knife is excellent too but i get more milage out of a small axe i have for the kind of climate im in. If i went into a jungle the lofty wiseman parang would be with me no questions tho.

hope this helps

My everyday carry kniife is a Kershaw Ken Onion Whirlwind and it fits me pretty well, both in my hand and in the pocket. When I am in the outback, the nod goes to my Randall #14 with the finger grooved handle. When I am kayaking or otherwise on the water, I carry my Randall #16 with the finger grooved handle............although (and I hate to say this!) but my recent acquisition of a Timberline Zambezi may put my Randalls in the safe! It has a excellent and versatile grip, but the sheath is a bit "Overbuilt" for my tastes. I think an aftermarket Kydex sheath will be in the works for this knife soon.

The Wegner designed folders, Spyderco and now Blade-tech

I wish that Blade-tech would make a fixed blade version.

Folder: Native
Fixed: Dozier

Mr. Ingram recently made me a knife, that initialy seems to feel better than the Dozier, time will tell.
