What's the most expensive knife you carry daily?

I'm in the UK which limits greatly what I can legally carry on a daily basis. Probably my Leatherman Surge (I work with tools so blade is fine in this context).

But yes, they come in handy for me regularly, they are underrated, and I am sad when a scale type nixes them, like my G10 Rambler and Executive.
Couldn’t agree more. I was surprisingly disappointed to lose the pin when I put swissbianco g10 scales on my tinker.

Either a Knifeart CF large 21 or a 3rd gen nude XM-18.
Both have seen tons of use in rough jobs and both have proved themselves time and again.

my Kephart that I carried most days for a bit was, and still is my most expensive knife... I think just a little over two grand.

Knife only is my ME exclusive Hinderer Eklipse 3V Wharnie (>$1000 on secondary market). When considering upgrades and Steel Flame accessories, it’s my Hinderer XM-18 harpoon tanto (nearly $1500).

It’s great to carry knives you love rather than having them at home in the safe.

This the most expensive knife that I carry and use at work on a pretty regular basis. Some of my other pricey knives I tend to carry more after work and on weekends because at work I may have to cut something I wouldn't normally cut with my knife, or it might fall out of my lap onto concrete as I get up, something to that effect.

I rotate an s90v carbon para 3, tactile knives Rockwall Thumbstud (recommended by a member here), a small black micarta inkosi, and my new Shiro neon nl. All reprofiled sloppily by me and all used heavily. (I like to have only 4 knives - so if I buy a new one I have to sell one.)

At one point I carried a custom frame lock from Chuck Gedraitis but now it’s a blue M390 Spyderco Para2.

The most expensive knife I ever carried OAA (Out And About) on a regular basis was a Benchmade Casbah ($165) some years ago, but ever-changing judicial opinions made it of doubtful legality in a pocket. Since then, I have been gravitating towards cheaper knives--a Bugout ($119), a Spyderco Endura ($91), and lately a Civivi Cogent ($70).

For OTF use (On The Farm :-) ), I have carried a Benchmade AFO II ($192) and a Spyderco Caribbean Salt Sheepsfoot ($185) for several months each, but lately it's been a Spyderco Byrd Meadowlark Hawkbill ($33). I had to take the Meadowlark apart several times to try to get it to Spydie flick properly, but it's pretty good at that now and it's great for cutting baling twine, especially when the bales are tied really tight. I wish it came in orange.

My favorite work/every day carry knife is a ZT 0566. Not crazy expensive or impossible to replace. But it would grieve me to loose it.

I used to carry a Spyderco Delica, but have come to appreciate the more solid feel of ZT’s.
