Whats the most expensive knife you carry

Hmmm, my most expensive knife that I carry and use. I have to think about that one for a moment. I believe it would be my Mayo Covert it was $850. This is my beach. swimming knife. Or any time I am going to be around water.

Most expensive? BM 710 (D2 version) I´ve paid 160$. Knives are quite expensive in Czech republic.
Most precious fixed blade is this one made by great knife maker Petr Dohnal. I carry and use it outdoors.

i've got expensive knifes but i don't edc them...only when i carry a backpack or fatboy, i have a rescue blur available, and i don't advertise that fact to anyone either...otherwise it's just the little swiss card blade in wallet and occasionally a chive...

i don't kid myself; i don't work and i don't put myself in situations (and i avoid situations) where i might have to cut someone, so i don't carry a "tactical"...if i did find myself in a situation, i'd improvise (which i have done before).

At this time it's a Benchmade Mini Rukus. It used to be an Emerson CQC14 until the lock started slipping. Again.

Whats the most expensive knife you carry?

Large Classic Sebenza w/African Blackwood inlays

I'm still saving up for my second Sebbie. It's going to be a large unique graphic.:)

I used to carry a Steve Ryan custom folder but they are pretty hard to replace. Furthermore, I've heard of quite a few unlawful confiscations in LA. Police refusals to return knives even when ordered by the Court to do so. Now I carry a couple Cold Steels that would be easy to replace.

The most expensive piece I carry on my person is my Case/Bose Swayback in pocket-worn Bermuda green bone. MSRP ~$180

I carry a RAT RC-6 in my pack, though. MSRP ~$200

My Emerson CQC 8 cost me about $170, but lately the most expensive is the Spyderco D2 Para Mili or the Caly 3 they where both about $100.

Most expensive I ever carry would be my Benchmade 553 Tanto Griptillian.

Unless of course the SOG Twitch XL costs more. Or the "old" Benchmade 350....

My first Custom about $225 in the early 80s, an early Bud Nealy Aikuchi, bought at the first ECCKS which also happened to be one of Bud's first shows. This is an EDC SD knife I've carried nearly everyday since I bought it.

A Masserin Spirit in Stainless Damascus MSRP over $200, won from Totally Judy when she made her 2000 post and put it up as a giveaway IIRC

Also carried EDC, sucker holds an edge.:D

The two ya don't see are the Dozier Arkansas Toothpick, about $225 and the Nealy Sting, about $375 I got at the ECCKS 3 years ago from Bud, both of these rotate with my Aikuchi as an EDC SD.

This one is the most expensive now..... its a Crawford KFF framelock. A gift from my wife for my birthday.
