Whats the most expensive knife you carry

Large Sebenza 21.

Dont carry it much, too many knives in rotation I guess.

As much as it pains me to say it...I'd rather use and abuse my cheaper knives. Benchmades and Kershaws are good users.

I have also been carrying fixed blades pretty often recently, and that knocks it out of rotation too.

I've EDC'd a Sebenza for the better part of 8 years. I had around a seven month struggle with my EDC... My Lg Reg was chased away by a CC SnG which was beaten out by a Spyderco Military which was thwarted by another SnG which was easily taken over by what I consider the best knife available... the Lg Sebenza 21. The CC was the most expensive, but the Sebs ain't cheap either. A knife is indeed a tool, but a nice knife makes me smile!

My large classic Sebenza is the one, I used to carry a small but found the large much more comfortable for my hands.

A Mark Sentz small Moran style lockback. I got it for a pretty good price at the Guild show in '05 because Mark had been carrying it himself for a while. With the Kenny Rowe cape buffalo skin pouch. I think I have about $650 tied up in the rig.

I used to carry a BM740, as well as a Spyderco Caly 3. However, I've since given those two away and have downsized to nice, working class knives. Most expensive I carry now and again is a Spyderco Persistence, followed by a Case Barehead Slimline Trapper.

I only see two problems with those two knives above.

I like my liner lock to be a little harder to get to. Make it TOO easy and it's TOO easy to accidently let the blade loose.

Also since I officially don't have a job now I REALLY can't afford anything new and pricey!

Hey !... That's exactly mi EDC knife: small classic Seb with African blackwood for $400 ... it had been with me for 99% of the time for the last year and a half.

Most amazing knife I've ever had !.

Previously I was EDCing a Buck/Mayo TNT (slightly modified by myself)... pretty damn good as well.
