Whats the purpose of having several Beckers

Becker Knives are a thing of beauty to me. They are quality, USA made, and a very reasonable price for what you get. I have a 9, 12, 15, 5, 24, 11, 16. I recently bought an extra 5 and 15, got some TKC orange G10 scales for them, and will be ordering some orange Kydex sheaths for them. I will be making this set for my wife as a Christmas present this year. She love the Rachel Ray Cookware and I figure I would make her a nice "matching" orange set of Becker goodness for dedicated kitchen and cooking use.

I'm a knyfeknut.

My head would explode if I didnt have tons of knives....

Everytime I think I have enough Beckers....

I honestly can't justify finishing that sentence! Haha! :D

I love it, I just needed to hear why you all justify having so many it makes sense to me.
I have in my possession
SOG Seal Pup Elite, and 3 CRKT Knives
On Order
Esee Izula, Izula II, Condor Elegan, Becker 15, 5 and a Ka-Bar Army all recommendations from people on this forum.

Thanks

Becker Remora, All Stainless, Plain, Clam Pack (KB0013CP)

I am done this is it for the next few months this is enough to keep me bust and learn about all these knives.

I will need some help with finding some handles or cord to wrap with some instruction. Hopefully I will have them next week The waiting begins

I youtube'd mine before I got handles. There are a million ways to wrap it out there.

I ordered the 24,11,13 and I am either going to wrap them or try to find someone who makes handles.

I see some people with a multitude of different Beckers, other than size and blade differences what is the point other than from a I gotta have em all perspective. I am new to knives and I'm just wondering what the different uses are for the different lengths? I would thing a medium sized knife would be sufficient for almost everything? By no means am I trying to start a war here just trying to get a little education and to justify why I need to purchase different sized knives. I have the 15 on order and was told to also order the 5 while I can.

Thanks

This falls under that category known as "a rhetorical question." :D

One of us. One of us. One of us..

Another good way to put it is like Ford. They have lots of different vehicles, but there's one for each use. One's a big truck (f250, f350, etc), one's a smaller truck (f150), there's a Ranger (okay, the Ranger is discontinued, but..), then we have the Explorer, then the Escape, then the Focus, then the Fiesta, etc.

Becker knives are a great value, which helps, because the next one doesn't hurt the wallet much.

This....

I was in a national outdoor supply retailer the other day looking a a blade that would be in the same category as the 9 (can't recall the brand now). The price: $150! Can't imagine paying that much for a blade that I *might* like instead of $90-$100 for a blade I am *confident* I will love.

It took a while for me to respond to this thread because my eyes popped out and rolled across the floor when i read the title. and yet, i still do not know how to respond.
