What's the smallest knife you actually like, carry, and use?

Remember the 30 day carry challenge from a few months back? I carried a Victorinox Cadet for a month and learned that the 2 1/2 in blade is just a little short for my liking but still works. I would not want a blade any shorter than the Cadet. So, I guess my that is my answer. A Vic Cadet.

I've carried lots of little guys over the years. Have a Leatherman Ps4 on every car keychain. Then on a "utility" biner I keep a Boker Toucan, and other little guys get added to other pockets. It's hard to go wrong with the little Kershaw Onions, Boker Subcom or Nano. And other favorites are the Spyder's Dragonfly and Chaparral. Sure there are smaller designs (think Ladybug/Manbug), but with these, you add just a tiny amount of size and weight, but jump from zit poppers to real usable knives.

Recently got the Peanut bug. Great little big knives.

And if you like the "Bugs", you can always modify for that "Hide in Plain Sight" dual purpose usage. [emoji41]

Roadie, all day, everyday. Gets done what I need to do. Gotta love it! funny thing is, I'm no longer a roadie, so its kinda ironic that its so much a part of my kit.

2 7/8" Ulster 180/ Craftsman 9507 peanut. In my pocket every day. I think 2 7/8" is the ideal size for a pocket knife.

Those peanut sized slip joints work well for folks that don't feel the need for some sort of functional one hand opening knife. They handle about 90% of the regular everyday cutting that I need to do. I found that to be true with my little Hen & Rooster stockman that I started carrying back in the spring.

My last ten years in the Army I carried this and used it more than any other knife. Beforte that I carried a Bernchmade CQC7. I found it not to be very versatile. Our fathers and grandfathers weren't under-knifed with small slipjoints. We aren't either.

I've said it before; I'll say it now; and I'll likely say it again --- It isn't the knife that matters. It's what you can do with it.

This is a hard wood. Walnut.

Always my Vic classic is on my keyring, so I can't leave home without it. Sometimes use it several times a day for the scissors, knife, screw driver tip. It's actually the most useful knife I have. I keep it in a leather pouch sheet attached to my keys so I don't have to 'disconnect' anything to get it off my keyring. Just pill out and use.

These are the other knives I carry in a day to day rotation. The littyle Remington peanut is my number one pocket knife most days, with the Leatherman squirt being carried on days I know I'm going to be working on something. The Christy knife is a thin blades slicer and make a great box cutter.
