What's the smoothest folder you have ever felt?

As odd as it might seem, I have some CRKT M16 & M21 folders that are VERY smooth...Just as smooth as any $400 folder that I have handled.

I just got a CRKT M-16-14DSFG Tan Special Forces today and I agree it is pretty smooth right out of the box!

From my experience it's this P-38 by Mike Vagnino:

I have many WH and CRK made, all wonderful smooth knives, but I'm totally awed by this folder.

That is a very nice-looking folder!...

My Microtech Terzuola D/A ATCF with Ivory Micarta Scales...the only knife that I truly regret selling. That was quality craftsmanship from microtech not like some of the newer stuff. Although I do have high hopes for the new Select-Fire I just have to pull the trigger on it finally.

CRK Umnumzaan, polished the washers, tang, and inside of the scales to 12000 grit micromesh

BM 755 MPR

I'm working on an old, beat up SNG to ream the pivot hole and bushings to have a "Sebenza Style Pivot system" Lots of careful lathe work going on but if it works i'll finish cleaning up the rest of the knife.

Out of my non auto or assisted, i'd say the my Mini-Grip is the smoothest in a quiet way, my Fellhoelter custom is the smoothest with solid feel and my Strider PT is the smoothest with the best click.

an IKBS pivot beats all others in smooth.

After reading some of the responses.....I think people are just naming their favorite makers/knives
I suppose you have handled every knife mentioned in this thread. It's an experience based topic.
My Gayle Bradley is the smoothest folder I have ever used.

Spyderco Gayle Bradley. It's smoother than Keith Stone. In fact, mine's so smooth you'd swear it was a fixed blade.

XM-18 & XM-24 are my smoothest followed or equaled by my Sebenzas which are a diferent kind of smooth - not based on speed of deployment but the full opening of the blade is very smooth, especially after a cleaning and some fresh lube.

My Bradley Alias is the easiest, smoothest opening I've handled. I really like my Benchmade Kulgera for that reason, and my IKBS-added Kershaw JYD II in titanium is awesome, but the Alias is the best.

My Sebenzas are smooth, too. So is my Gayle Bradley. But the Alias is better...
