Got up this morning and looked out my window to this sight on the farm. 6 inches of this foreign matter on the ground. Personally I hate this stuff. There is no way I'd live where thay have a lot of this stuff at a time. It needs to stay well north of here. I'm ready for 100 degree temperatures and 90 percent humidity!

Same here to the east of you. North Ga got about 6 inches. :)

I love the snow and the cold. I grew up in Ohio. I keep wanting to get my wife to go hike through the woods.

its good when you dont have to be out in it. Im "working" from home today and hanging out by the fire. :)

I'll take the cold any day! Don't like a TON of snow, but half a foot is pretty mild...well...except for ALABAMA! :D

Did some snowy field testing with the new folder?

I have to admit that I love that "foreign white matter" :D It's just awesome to be out in the cold, white nature and enjoy the silence, especially when you're used to a busy and chaotic job in the city... On top of that practicing your fire-making skills is even more rewarding when you're freezing :p

Yep. had to go out and at least start a fire using the folder. POS Sigma lens quit working too! So I said screw it and got my cold ass back in the house by the wood heater.

I'm the opposite - I hate hot weather.......I can't stand sweating. I'd prefer to gear up with some warm clothing and go out in the snow than be in a super hot, humid environment.

We got some snow in Omaha and they already cancelled school for today and tomorrow. The University is closed today, which is a huge deal since it is the first day of the Spring semester. I got the day off work.

That is what we have on our lawn beginning sometimes late October and stays until late March or early April.

Maybe when I'm older and my circulation sucks I may hate it, but for now, I like it.

Never had one of those knives fall from the sky though. Can alway hope.

I was going to make a joke about an ESEE coke spoon, but that's just a damn nice looking folder.
I'd buy that one without blinking a bit. Can't tell if it's a frame lock or a liner lock though.

Got a ton of snow here. The wife and I were using a boogie board to go Dirty-South-Snowsledding. lol.

The way I look at it is that when it's cold you can always add another layer. When it's hot there's kind of a limit to how much you can take off!

An argument for 440C in that folder perhaps?

The worst part about snow and ice in the south is the idiot drivers who think its just like water. Ruins my whole morning. The upside is that it is usually gone in few hours.
