What's this on the ground in Alabama

You snow hating guys are bunch of sissies...its not proper winter if its not cold and no snow.

Love those picks of the folder, Jeff:thumbup:

I like the way snow looks. That's where it ends.I hate driving in the stuff, shoveling it,walking in it,etc...

That said,I'd take it & the cold any day over the high heat & humidity of the Summertime.

I share your pain.. Its funny when Its hot we cant wait for winter and vice-versa..

we got about this much

That storm is heading here now. It's supposed to hit Tuesday night and last all day Wednesday dropping 6-12". I think another storm from the west is merging with it once it get's here.

Damn you guys. I have not even played in the snow never mind play in the snow with sharp things....wait....that just sounds wrong....

Got up this morning and looked out my window to this sight on the farm. 6 inches of this foreign matter on the ground. Personally I hate this stuff. There is no way I'd live where thay have a lot of this stuff at a time. It needs to stay well north of here. I'm ready for 100 degree temperatures and 90 percent humidity!

Feel the same way. Hate wearing lots of stuff. Jeans, T and sneakers is it. No socks or underwear the way a man was meant to live!

Hey! You are carving fatwood with my knife! LOL...time to build a quinzee Jeff!

I don't mind cold weather, I can deal with it. But I hate snow with a passion...it sucks ass 100% for sure. Personally after the new year, I'm ready for Spring. Sadly though, we're predicted to get some of this white bullshit here in VA tomorrow. :grumpy:

Thanks for sneaking in the pic of the ESEE-3 folder though.

Here's my backyard pics I just took. Regular weather here , but not for some of you guys !

The snow that hit Jeff will be here tonight and go through tomorrow here. Biggest problem is the sleet mix that will fall with the snow. Sleet is just nasty no matter where you are.

you're nuts for living in that shit

This is absolutely true :D:eek:

I do have my moments when I get really sick of it though. I always wished I lived in a tropical or at least temperate climate to be honest. In the back lane is my Jeep. The only way to get around in this shit without getting stuck every ten feet ( like all the other non four -by-fours I seen lately.

i love snow. i'd rather hike through the stuff rather than in the '90s where i have to lug 3+ liters of water and go through it after just a mile or two. plus, it keeps the sheeple away so i can play with the junglas without worrying about one of them spotting me and getting freaked out and dialing 911.

I've spent most of my life hating snow, but I'm really starting to like it lately.

Sorry for the crappy iPhone pic, the flash sucks!
Yes, that is a popcorn tin! I really need to buy a fire pit...
That was taken a few hours before the ball dropped last December 31st. Also the first time my 4 saw heavy use.

Does this mean that we can soon expect to see prototype pics of the ESEE survival folding snow shovel?:)

Can you people down there in alabama/georgia area please return that white ground cover to western NY? the most my town has got so far this winter, was about 4 inches.

Actually, you need look no further than downstate a bit. Out on the Island we got about 15" from the last storm and are expecting another 12"+ tomorrow night into Wed. morning.

Call me crazy too, but I also like the cold weather and snow. I really like the change of seasons here. I get bored when the weather is always the same and I'm kinda awed by the power of mother nature and I enjoy seeing it firsthand. Of course the weather is pretty moderate here, all told, and I realize that I am relatively lucky to have not been, or regularly be exposed to her deadlier side.

BTW Jeff, that folder looks awesome! Must be the Ti version. ;)
