What's this on the ground in Alabama

Bah, I hate snow. But that's the way it is here in South Western PA.

Jeff - I don't think you need to generate any more buzz for that folder. I would venture to say that 95% of us crazies on here would pre-order it right now! I would fo sho.

The other 5% would be on the fence of course - to complain about shipping dates, that they already have POS sun glasses, said goatee and beer gut :D then they would buy them anyway after the rest of started 50 new threads and posted a million pictures.

Might1 raises a valid point. Why do y'all keep delaying the ship dates on this thing?
If my knife doesn't ship by January 14 at 05:00:00, I'm going to challenge the order with PayPal.

we've got about 6" so far and it's still coming down heavy -- I'm hoping that as soon as the new governor is done with his innauguration he'll tell us all to go home so I can plow the driveway in daylight.
really glad I got as much done as I did on my new shelter this weekend -- the snow should seal of all the drafts I still had yesterday afternoon. :)

that's interesting, guess the storm is bypassing us as we've only had about 2" where it'll stick anyway:D

Man you gotta learn to love the snow. Nothing I like better than fresh snow, about 10 degrees, sunshine, dead calm day out ice-fishing. Here in Indiana, not much ice fishing. Up in Wisconsin (now that's winter up there!) ice fishing is the number one outdoor sport by whatever measure (dollars, people, whatever).

That is one great looking folding knife. I don't want to speak out of turn here but that one is a much more appealing prospect than the previous "folder to come" that was much ballyhooed on this forum. I am going to make that one a "must have".

Enjoy the snow folks...we're getting it tonight and tomorrow and here it stays around.

The thing about Indiana that makes it pretty tough is that in the summer, it is just about as hot and humid as Alabama and in the winter it is just about as cold as North Dakota. It snows a heck of a lot more in New York and New England but it doesn't get quite as cold. Ah the midwest!

That white stuff is what they call "global warming". Now if I could just find my scissor-lift I could explain it further.

yeah - I was up in Mn for the holidays, but was bummed out because they only had 12-14" of snow on the ground where I was and the temps stayed pretty warm, around 13-16 F so I kept sweating too much.
it's kinda sad when you come in from snowshoeing and there's froken water inside your coat...

No, now its called "Climate Change" because that way they can always accuse everyone who breathes and drives EVIL no matter what the weather does!

was that political?

Well, if you don't like it, you can pass it to me somehow :p

I think we are supposed to get some tomorrow.. didn't really watch the news though. Just listened.

I checked out the ESEE site, and the CADD drawing of the ESEE folder had a black coating. Jeff and crew, are the new folders going to have that coating, or are they going to be plain blades like your prototype?

I'd really like to see some RAT series fixed blades without coatings too.

I like the way snow looks. That's where it ends.I hate driving in the stuff, shoveling it,walking in it,etc...

That said,I'd take it & the cold any day over the high heat & humidity of the Summertime.
