Whats under your pillow?

I don't have a pillow. I sleep in a corner sitting down so I can impose limits on the direction toward which I need to attack in order to fend off any threat.

ZT 0170 in my right hand, eagletac D25C titanium clicky in the left.

Without delving into just what awaits home intruders that dare enter, I keep an Estwing tomahawk standing up by the nightstand just in case.

The lock on my door is there for your protection, not mine.

And for anyone who replied with "xxxxx on my nightstand", if someone does gain access to your home the last thing you want is a weapon of any kind sitting in plain sight anywhere in the house, but particularly right next to you while you sleep.

Sig 226 9mm in a holster attached between the mattrass and the bedspring. A Streamlight Scorpion on the nightstand. Rather not get that close with a knife.

I actually do sleep with a knife under my pillow, along with my other EDC gear. (Keys, flashlight, phone, and wallet). The knife under my pillow is always the knife I carried that day.

I used to keep a Spyderco Forager nearby. Now I just have a Glock 29 nearby loaded with some Buffalo Bore 180 gr JHP.

Fenix pd35 on my night stand. Got some doggies down stairs that bark if a leaf falls off a tree outside.

I have a dead man's switch and my whole house is wired with c4. If you break in i am taking the whole block with me! Where the hell do you all live that you need a gun sitting on your night stand or under you pillow? Doesn't that hurt? I have my bed under my pillow. I have my tactical bag under my bed, but my guns are locked in my drawer and floor safes respectively. I also have two large dogs that don't like strangers. Well one doesn't anyway. The other just barks if the first one does. I second what was said above. On the night stand? Really?

Good post.
I have my fenix flashlight hanging on a hook but that's it, and only because we seem to have a sensitive transformer on our block that likes to lose power more often than not. After that it's my fathers late 1960's issued police baton hanging up next to some mops and brooms downstairs. :p

Understood, but they are talking pretty expensive hardware. Maybe they should spend less on toys and more on the neighborhood? That or the neighborhood isn't that bad, you figure out the rest.

I always have a Kershaw Thermite under my pillow and my ZT 0121 on night stand. Also my girlfriend keeps Kershaw Knockout under her pillow after alot of complaining she has gotten use to it lol

I sleep with this in my jock strap, plus my EDC,which is Top Secret, cause the Meth Head down the street may be monitoring this thread. You just don't know,,,,,,,,,,,,,do ya ?????

"That's what I am talking about!" A sticker that said that would probably scare off more pillheads than one that says "Monitored by make-believe security company!"

I live out in the boonies and frequently have to deal with things that go bump in the night, mostly possums, raccoon or coyotes. Large dogs that let me know just how serious it is. Knife is where ever I dumped the rest of the stuff from my pockets. Under the pillow is my bed. The bump in the night stuff is close enough to grab on my way out of the room, dogs are plenty large enough and unwelcoming to give me plenty of time.
