Whats up with noone liking Cold Steel!?

I'm mainly a folder guy and their knives dont appeal to me at all, i got plenty of benchmades, emersons, mod & microtech, the knives I got have STYLE, the CS knives just look cheap pieces of plastic.

some of the fixed blade designs look pretty sweet, but "420 Subzero Quenched" scares me off :)
 
The german knife magazin did a testing of some camp knifes last year. They did the breakage test quite badly, so i do not tell things about this here.

But know they proofed the steels of a Busse 7 and a CS whatever.

Heattreatment and forging of the CS was much better than the Busse.
CS had a finer grain structure and was cleaner than the INFI steel.

Knife magazin tested the hardness of the blades at several points. Surprisingly the Busse blade was softest at the edge. Knife magazin sugested, that the edge became to hot while grinding.

The CS was hardest at the edge.

I would like you to tell us more! I have seen a German knife magazine in my magazine store,but sadly i can´t speak or read any german,so i have never baught any copy of it.The only word i know for sure in german is "messer" means "knife".Share some more test specifications and facts with us.
